⌂ TDM
TDM (Therapeutic Drug Monitoring) is the set of activities aimed at identifying, evaluating, understanding, and preventing adverse events or any other problems associated with the use of drugs and therapies. The goal of pharmacovigilance is to ensure that the use of these drugs and therapies is associated with an overall benefit greater than the risks and adverse events related to them. All drugs and vaccines are extensively tested before being released on the market and are therefore considered safe. However, in pre-clinical and clinical studies, some groups are not significantly represented. In any case, there is individual variability that should be monitored. In this mission, the contribution of everyone is essential to increase the existing knowledge about the effectiveness and side effects/adverse events of therapies.
